My Story
My journey to becoming an editor began in an unexpected place... an Adult Novelty Boutique. After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology, I pursued a an MEd in Human Sexuality which led me to a unique opportunity at an Adult Novelty Shop. It was there that my creative side began to emerge in an unexpected way.
I was hired after providing some candid feedback on their private brands packaging designs and brand identity. The CEO's of the company found my product critique to be constructive, and refreshing. They recognized my creative potential and brought me in to help with their new e-learning initiatives, packaging concepts, and B2B sales efforts. This led me to a creative role in the Adult Novelty industry, where I quickly became known for my direct and honest approach to product development. I was given a variety of hands-on responsibilities, from helping rebrand product lines to curating successful online trade shows that generated significant sales.
The core of my work was transforming raw information into engaging e-learning content. It was here that I taught myself how to use Adobe Premiere Pro, developing a passion for visual storytelling.
I built on my self-taught skills by enrolling in the American Graphic Institute. There, I earned my Video Editing Certification and honed my expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and more. This experience ignited an even deeper passion for visual storytelling and animation, which is why I'll be continuing my education in 2026 at Pixels and Polygons School of 3D animation.
